Follow the Rules

Following the rules of social media is hard. There are tons of rules, and you don't always agree with them and why they were put into place by social media experts. However, it is usually proven that following the rules work and it would be in the best interest of our social media accounts if we followed them. We often feel like our way is better and that is the hardest part of social media. I challenge myself and everyone else to follow all of the rules, feed the content monster, refrain from profane posts (whatever Guy the occasional curse is humorous), and do your best!

I think that being a social media lurker is my biggest problem with following social media etiquette.  I also tend to post only with the intent of being funny. It is important to keep a balance in your posts so that you personality is represented in a well-rounded manner. What do you guys struggle with?

I think that my etiquette is best on Facebook. My following on the platform is more mature and the development of the site has made it a more family-based environment than platforms like Twitter. The site that I think my etiquette is worst on is Twitter. What are the platforms that are most difficult for you?
